As well as all of the "on page optimisation" that you can do to to help move your site up in the search engine results pages [SERPS], there are things that you can do away from your site that will also help. First amongst these is the building of a network of "backlinks" - links from other websites that bring traffic to your site. In a really simplistic description, Google views each link back to your site as a vote and the more votes you have, the more popular your site must be and the result is that your site will move up in the results. Of course, it's not quite as simple as that - if it was, everyone would be doing it. Although there are many companies offering to sell you links back to your site some of these companies simply look on it as a numbers game, but it's much more than that. As with everything else, Google focuses on quality and relevancy and so will look at all of the links that point towards your site and the higher the quality of the link, the greater the impact that it has on where your site comes up in the results. A link from an architect's website to a builder will have a far greater impact on Google than one from a car dealer, for example. We can help you to develop your own link building strategy or develop the links for you. To find out more,
